A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Biography
I was born and raised in South Louisiana. I spent most of my childhood drawing, painting and walking in the dense wilderness. My dad was a fisherman and painter. He took me deep into the swamps for hours where I learned the meaning of nature and my place within. I learned about the danger and beauty of life and how we try to ignore this primitive part of ourselves. Something in me wanted to live out there in the infinite adventure because back home in the real world, where my ADHD and angst was often punished, I didn't feel totally accepted. But I learned to bring my vivid imaginative worlds to life through art and filmmaking. Today all that I've learned is put to use in the themes of my work.
ABOUT MY PROCESS
My Work
Is the essence of dream, nightmare and fantasy. Elever (to raise) the unconscious mind to the surface, shape it in imagination and art. I'm inspired by those worlds that aren't quiet reality, but not quite dream. Somewhere in the middle like a psychotic break or psychedelic moment that blossom a sense of meaning.
